Haven't updated my journal in a while, so here's a poem.
I wish I knew the right words to use
To unpack my heart at your feet
But I never have
I never will
Instead my love burns there
Like a furnace
Whenever I'm around you
The words I want to say
Sear my tongue like coals
I swallow them
They blaze down my throat
Adding fuel to the fire
The heat flies up through my body
Coloring my cheeks
And if you look closely
You can see smoke curling from my ears

It is soooooooo nice to be on break!
I finally have time to actually do art and enjoy myself! My muse (that fickle bitch) has finally shown up again, and I'm ripping and roaring to write and draw!
On top of that, I've had the most wonderful Christmas ever (IT FREAKING SNOWED I'M STILL IN A HAPPY COMA)!
I hope all of you reading this have had a wonderful Christmas too, if that's what you celebrate. If not, I hope you've had a wonderful holiday, and continue to do so! May you all be safe and happy, and may you never come under the curse of art-block!
